1. Who we are
UKVI Visa Processing Time (“the App”, “we”, “us”) is an independent mobile application that collects and displays community-reported UK visa processing times. It is operated by an individual developer, not affiliated with UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) or the Home Office.

Data collected automatically

We do not collect names, passport details, Home Office reference numbers, or any government-issued identifiers.
3. Why we collect it and legal basis
We process your data under the following lawful bases (UK GDPR / GDPR):
- Contract / legitimate interest — to operate your account, store your reports, and show you your own submission history.
- Legitimate interest — to aggregate anonymised processing-time statistics that benefit the wider applicant community.
- Consent — push notifications (you can opt out at any time in device Settings or the Account tab).
4. How your data is used
- Your email is used solely for authentication (password-less magic link). We do not send marketing emails.
- Your report data (visa type, nationality, dates, outcome, channel, location) is aggregated with other users’ reports to produce the statistics shown in the App. Individual reports are never displayed to other users.
- Usage analytics are collected in aggregate to understand which visa types are viewed most and improve the App. Events are pseudonymised; we do not build individual profiles.
We never sell your personal data to third parties.
