Spinner — Support
Spinner is a decision wheel. Type or speak a question and its options, tap SPIN, and it picks one at random.
Adding options
- Type into Add an option and press return. The field stays open so you can type a whole list without stopping.
- Or tap Speak options and say each one with a short pause between them. Saying “pizza, sushi, and burgers” adds three options.
- Tap any option to edit it, or the × to remove it.
- A wheel needs at least 2 options and holds up to 20.
The microphone isn't working
- Check that Spinner has microphone and speech recognition permission in your device Settings.
- Speech recognition needs a network connection on most devices.
- Dictation is always optional — everything in Spinner can be typed.
Where are my wheels kept?
On your device only. Spinner saves automatically, so there is no save button and your last wheel is waiting when you reopen the app. Tap Recent to see past results and bring back an earlier wheel. Nothing is sent anywhere — see the privacy policy.
Is the wheel actually random?
Yes. Each option has an equal chance, the winner is drawn before the wheel starts moving, and the wheel is then animated to land on it — so the pointer always agrees with the result.
