If a listing, a message, a review or a person is abusive, misleading or a scam, report it and we will look at it.
We aim to review every report within 24 hours and will remove content or suspend an account where our rules have been broken.
From a chat, tap Report or block, then Block this person. They will no longer be able to message you and their conversation disappears from your list. To undo it, go to Profile, find them under Blocked people, and tap Unblock.
Never pay a deposit before viewing a room in person, and never send money to someone who refuses to meet. RentAPlace never asks you to pay us, and never handles your deposit.

A seal means our team has checked the landlord's identity documents and their right to let the property, and that the listing photos have been reviewed. A listing without a seal has not completed those checks.
By law your deposit must be placed in a government-backed protection scheme (DPS, mydeposits or TDS), and you must receive the protection certificate and prescribed information within 30 days. The app's deposit handbook explains exactly what to ask for, and how to claim between one and three times your deposit back if a landlord fails to protect it. RentAPlace never holds your deposit.
Every listing is reviewed before it goes live. If it was rejected, the reason is shown on the listing in My listings. Fix what was raised, save the listing, and that re-submits it for review.
Go to Profile and choose I'm a landlord — I want to list a room. Listing is free: no commission and no hidden fees.
Profile → Delete my account. This permanently removes your profile, listings, messages and any documents you uploaded. It cannot be undone.
Vietnamese and English. The app follows your phone's language, and you can switch it from the Profile screen.
